12 ounces water packed tuna, drained and flaked
1 cup mayonnaise
1 onion, finely chopped
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 (12oz.) wide egg noodles
8 to 10 plum tomatoes, sliced 1/4 inch thick
1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
Preheat oven to 375 F
Combine tuna, mayonnaise, onion, salt, pepper in med. bowl; mix well.
Cook noodles according to package directions. Drain and return to saucepan. Stir tuna mixture into noodles until well blended.
Layer half on noodle mixture, half of tomatoes, and half of cheese in 13x9 inch baking dish. Press down slightly. Repeat layers.
Bake 20 minutes or until cheese is melted and casserole is heated through.
