1 tablespoon olive oil
1 large yellow onion, chopped
1 med. red bell pepper, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 or 3 tablespoons chili powder (or more depending on ur taste)
28 oz. can crushed tomatoes
3 cups precooked black beans
4 oz. Chile peppers
salt and pepper
(I also added hot pepper flakes.....)
soften onion, garlic, and peppers for about 5 mins. add chili powder
mix in the other ingredients
slow cook all ingredients for a couple of hours in the crock pot
